Privacy Policy

Resemblio is a small operation owned by OptSus. If you email privacy@resemblio.com about a data question, Frank reads it personally. This page explains what we do with the only piece of data we collect from you right now: your email address.

What we collect

One thing: your email address, submitted through the opt-in form on our home page. That is the entire dataset. No name, no company, no IP-based profile, no behavioral tracking.

Why we collect it

To send you the launch invite when Resemblio opens, and to send you occasional updates about Resemblio after that. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see Your rights, below).

How we store it

Your email is stored at Resend, our email service provider, which acts as a data processor on our behalf. Resend may transfer data outside the European Economic Area in line with its own data processing terms and standard contractual clauses. We do not keep a separate copy of your address in our own database.

How we use it

We use your email only to send you Resemblio-related email: launch invite, product updates, the occasional newsletter. We do not sell your address. We do not share it with third parties beyond Resend acting as our processor. We do not rent it, swap it, or include it in any partner list.

Your rights

If you are in the EU, UK, or anywhere that grants similar rights, you have the right to access the data we hold about you, correct it, have it erased, port it to another service, restrict how we use it, object to a specific use, and withdraw your consent at any time.

The fastest way to exercise any of these rights is the one-click unsubscribe link in every email we send. For anything beyond unsubscribe (access, erasure, portability), email privacy@resemblio.com and Frank will handle it within a reasonable time, usually a few days.

Cookies

We use none beyond what Caddy, the web server that serves this site, sets to keep HTTPS working. No analytics cookies. No marketing pixels. No third-party trackers. The site is intentionally quiet.

Children

Resemblio is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16, where local law sets a higher digital-consent age). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone in that group. If you believe a child has submitted their email to us, write to privacy@resemblio.com and we will remove it.

Data retention

We keep your address until you unsubscribe. Once you unsubscribe, we remove you from the active audience within 7 days. Addresses that hard-bounce or generate spam complaints are kept in a suppression list so we do not send to them again; that is a requirement of CAN-SPAM and standard email-hygiene practice.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we update this page. If the change is material, current subscribers get an email about it before the new version takes effect.
